Vaisili Ponomaryov

Vasili is a natural left shot who plays center and the left side.

Has top notch acceleration and gets to full speed in a hurry. Ponomaryov plays very well on the powerplay as he demonstrated last season at the U17 World Championship in November. Was named to the tournament All Star team scoring 8 points in 6 games including 4 goals. Continue Reading

Drysdale
2020 NHL Draft
Drysdale
Jamie Drysdale falls into the category of “new age defenseman”. He is a right shot defenseman which we all know is a commodity in the NHL. Add to that the fact that he can skate like the wind and make superb outlet passes and you have a very hot commodity.
Askarov
2020 NHL Draft
Askarov
I don’t usually like to do articles on goaltenders because they can be so hard to project to the next level and, even the best goalie guru’s get it incorrect once in awhile. I just can’t resist doing an article on Yaroslav Askarov,

Gunler
Noel Gunler is one of the oldest players eligible for the 2020 NHL Draft. Among the Swedish “Big Three,” there has not been too much praise for him like there has been for Lucas Raymond and Alexander Holtz.

Neighbours
2020 NHL Draft
Neighbours
Jake Neighbours is a versatile winger with a strong two way game and acknowledged leadership skills. A stocky, skilled winger who reminds me a lot of former Oil King teammate Trey Fix-Wolansky (CBJ signee),
Peterson
2020 NHL Draft
Peterson
For a big man Peterson has incredibly soft hands. Hands are always placed on the stick in the proper position which enables him to dangle defenders at will. Don’t get caught looking at the puck because he will make you look rather average.
Barron
2020 NHL Draft
Barron
Justin was born and raised in Halifax and idolized the Mooseheads. When he was drafted by the Mooseheads he decided to forego his plans to follow in his brothers footsteps and play prep hockey.
Rossi
2020 NHL Draft
Rossi
Marco is a very intelligent player with a high hockey IQ. Rossi is a very consistent player night in and night out. Works extremely hard every shift on the ice. His play in his own end speaks volumes for his hard work. He is a relentless backchecker and is almost always in the correct position at both ends of the ice.
